The idea of the bookshelf is to promote the usage of books in a society where knowledge is easily accessible through the internet. The Internet has become a forefront that has substituted the use of traditional reading. People nowadays are more reliant on electronic based resources (e books, e- papers, eZines, E-journals, emails, games etc.) than paper based resources. We hope that the communities can be encouraged by increasing the convenience of attaining books as a knowledge source. Since this is something really easy to make it can be produced really easily. The aim of this Mobile bookshelf is to allow the transport of books between communities in the Caledonian area to increase the usage of books as a medium.
